The International Society for Third Sector Research provides its members with information on the latest developments in Third Sector Studies, access to the larger community of third sector scholars, researchers and practitioners, and opportunities for professional development and public outreach. Memberships are on a calendar basis January 1 to December 31. As our international conference is on a two year cycle, membership is also on a two year cycle, 2014/2015.
ISTR has the following member categories:
For individual members who support the mission of the Society
Supports ISTR's efforts to promote international membership; help subsidize reduced memberships
For individuals who generously provide financial support to the mission of the association through dues
For those individuals enrolled in either graduate or undergraduate study
Obtained from categories of GDP per capita published by the World Bank Development Report.
Reduced categories apply to country of residence, listed here
For institutions that support the mission and vision
of the Society. Two individuals comprise an Institutional Membership
For institutions who generously provide financial support to the mission of the association through dues
